    JOB Interview App

Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.

    PROJECT

    Description

Zero2unicorn created a one-of-a-kind job portal that connects job searchers with employers and the other way around. This portal assists in the management of job ads, applications, and selection processes such as online video interviews.

    Project Goal

The brief was to work in a team and identify problems with an existing mobile application, discover opportunities and then apply the UX design methodology to revamp the app. Our team decided to revamp the Jobstreet app.

    Challenges

    Problems

    • The main issue that occurred during the development of the app was “Mobile App Security.”
    • The app developer was concerned about the industry’s data breaches. Malware issues are a possibility, and software/hardware fragmentation adds to the situation. Not to mention the dangers of utilizing cache information to access apps.
    • Insecure data storage, authentication concerns, and session management issues were among the other important challenges. If left unchecked, these concerns can result in data misuse and manipulation, a poor user experience, and low app uptake.

    Solutions

    • Perform Security Check
    • Above all, there is a higher requirement to test frequently. Instead, keep testing to find hidden flaws and deliver updates on a regular basis to fix any breaches.
    • HOME-We wanted the homepage to be informative and not just flood the user with job opportunities. We, therefore, focused the main page on recommended jobs as well as recent additions that fit pre-set criteria.
    • EASY FILTERS- The filters in the app were designed according to our research and enabled the user to sort by location, salary, and position type.
